Barry Dippenaar obtained a B. Sc. (Civ. Eng.) degree from the University of Pretoria in 1964. He joined the firm of DJ Hulley and Partners Consulting Engineers. He was made a partner after 3 years and became the partner in charge of the structural division. During that time he was also closely involved with all geotechnical aspects associated with structures and gained considerable experience in the field. He co-founded Dippenaar and Lapage in 1987 and is currently one of the Directors. His present fields of operation are in conceptual structural design, soil evaluation and foundation design, site inspections, project management and client liaison.
Marnus Botes joined the firm of GFC Consulting Engineers where he finished experiential learning in order to obtain his N.Dip (Civ Eng) from the Technikon Pretoria in 2005. He later joined Dippenaar & Lapage and finished his studies to obtain a B-Tech Structural degree at Tshwane University of Technology in 2009. Marnus gained experience working side by side with senior partners Mr Dippenaar and Mr. Lapage on structural steel and concrete design, foundation design, site inspections, project management and client liaison. Marnus obtained his professional registration as a Professional Engineering Technologist from ECSA and became a director at Dippenaar and Lapage in 2014.
Divan Prinsloo obtained a National Diploma (N.Dip) in Civil Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology in 2011. He then furthered his studies by obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering (B.Tech) from Tshwane University of Technology in 2013. In 2010 he joined the firm Virtual Consulting Engineers (now known as Delta Built Environment Consultants) where he was part of the structural department. After obtaining his B-Tech degree in 2013 he joined Dippenaar and Lapage Consulting Engineers. In 2017 Divan started with his Bsc Honours in structural engineering at the University of Pretoria and also received his professional registration as a Professional Engineering Technologist from ECSA and became a director of the firm. His present fields of operation are in structural design (concrete, steel, timber and masonry components), construction information co-ordination, site inspections and client liaison.
Andree Fick obtained a B.Sc in Civil Engineering honours degree at the University of Cape Town in 2016. She joined Dippenaar and Lapage in 2017 and is currently working towards her ECSA professional registration. She has experience in structural design (Reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber) as well as drafting, site inspections, technical report writing and client liaison.
Muhammad Saeed Madari joined Dippenaar and Lapage Consulting Engineers in 2013 to complete his experiential learning in order to obtain a National Diploma (N.Dip) in Civil Engineering from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2014. He then furthered his studies by obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering (B.Tech) from the University of Johannesburg in 2017. His current fields of operation are in structural design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and masonry components as well as site inspections. Muhammad-Saeed is working towards obtaining his ECSA registration.
